‘Tis the season for reflection and forethought! As we look back on Sherweb in 2025, we’re immensely proud of all that we’ve accomplished alongside our managed service provider (MSP) partners. Strengthening our partner program remained front and center for us this year, with a massive expansion of our solutions marketplace, new initiatives to support partners’ Microsoft journey and enhancements to our platform that make day-to-day operations even easier. Engaging with industry stakeholders was top-of-mind for us as well, as forging and maintaining human connections with peers and partners is near and dear to our hearts. Last but certainly not least, a number of award recognitions and achievements not only reminded us that our hard work pays off but reaffirmed our staunch belief that when our partners succeed, we succeed. Without further delay, let’s dig into what made 2025 our best year yet.
Expanding our cloud marketplace to support MSP offerings
A whopping 17 cloud solutions signed on with Sherweb in 2025. Many of these fall under the security umbrella, largely in response to demand for solutions that protect client environments.
Providing a wide range of products in our cloud marketplace helps our MSP partners better serve their customers and set themselves up to thrive. It also enables partners to simplify their provisioning experience by consolidating multiple vendors under the roof of one distributor.
New additions to Sherweb’s marketplace in 2025 comprised:
- Afi
- ConnectSecure
- DefenseX
- HacWare
- Harmony Email & Collaboration
- Harmony SASE
- Huntress
- IRONSCALES
- Kalibr8
- Keepit
- Monjur
- NordLayer
- NordPass
- NordStellar
- Rewst
- Trend Vision One
- Usecure

Helping MSP partners succeed with technical and educational resources
Of course, having an ample selection of vendors and products available for MSPs to build their offering is key for cloud distributors. But Sherweb is more than just a cloud distributor. We outfit partners not only with the right tools, but also the right information and expertise to grow their business. In 2025 this took a few different forms.
Accelerate Microsoft
Guiding partners through the complexities of the Microsoft ecosystem represents a core tenet of Sherweb’s promise to our partners. New for Sherweb in 2025, our Accelerate Microsoft program built upon existing consultations with partners to deliver a plan of attack for achieving designations, collecting rebates and capitalizing on incentives. By recouping money left on the table—which in many cases partners were unaware existed—MSPs can ensure they’re maximizing their profitability and making the most of their Microsoft relationship.
Security Masterclass
Cybersecurity is holding fast as one of the most business-critical solutions that MSPs can deliver (and in some cases, manage) for their clients. The threat landscape is always changing, which means service providers must constantly up their game. Held in Montréal, Vancouver and Calgary, these one-day training events gave participating MSPs actionable insights for building their security stack and driving revenue generation, while also creating opportunities for networking and collaboration.
Microsoft 365 Copilot Masterclass
Understanding how AI can be leveraged for internal operations and packaged for end-clients is a game changer for MSPs. Focused on Copilot, this masterclass iteration teaches proven growth tactics for unlocking greater value from Copilot implementations, including guidance from Microsoft experts and real-word use cases.
We held the first session at Microsoft HQ in Seattle and will be visiting additional cities across Canada and the US in 2026!
MSP Masterclass: vCIO
Hosted in partnership with vCIO-U, these intensive trainings featured strategic advice and best practices for MSPs looking to strengthen their leadership, improve client relationships and optimize their service delivery. Heavy on peer interaction and 1:1 coaching, participating Sherweb partners were also able to access a 60-day post-course accelerator where they could apply learnings in their own businesses in real time.
Dynamics VIP event
Sherweb also made inroads cultivating deeper relationships with our Microsoft Dynamics partners in 2025, primarily at a special VIP event in Toronto. Designed to share Sherweb’s roadmap for Dynamics as well as current opportunities from Microsoft, this event acted as a launchpad for additional ways Sherweb intends to support its Dynamics partners in the year ahead.

Enhancing our platform to streamline the partner experience
Sherweb’s partner portal is really a command center for our MSP partners, where they do the bulk of their license provisioning, billing and support tasks. It’s therefore paramount for us to consistently roll out updates and improvements to make the experience as seamless as possible.
Here’s a breakdown of some of the optimizations we made over the course of the year:
- New Vendors section: Partners can provide vendor details and related configurations for improved vendor discoverability, streamlined vendor setup and simpler billing.
- Multi-purchase: Partners can purchase the same Microsoft product on separate subscriptions within the same organization, speeding up time to move to Sherweb by supporting all subscriptions and allowing for more flexible subscription management.
- RPA integrations: Partners can leverage pre-built Microsoft subscription management automations from a variety of vendors to save time and money.
- Perpetual licenses: Partners can more easily purchase perpetual (one-time) Microsoft licenses from Sherweb’s catalog.
- Expanded public API capabilities: Partners can purchase, amend and retrieve subscription details for their customers with multiple new public API endpoints.
- User Management Page improvements: Enhanced user interface for better monitoring and filtering of users by admins in the Partner Portal.
Anniversary of our Self-Service Portal (SSP)
It was the first full year of operation for Sherweb’s SSP, which simplifies end-client relationships by facilitating customers’ ability to make license and billing changes without calling on their MSP partners for support with basic fixes. We received a lot of constructive feedback since the SSP’s rollout, which has helped us finetune functionality based on the needs of our partners. In 2025, the following updates were implemented:
- Marketplace: Partners can create and manage product catalogs, enabling their customers to purchase new products directly through the SSP.
- Custom products and bundles: Partners can design and offer their own products or services, with customers able to purchase these offerings via the portal.
- PSA invoice payment integration: For partners using PSA integrations, invoices can now be displayed to customers within the portal. By leveraging PayPal, partners can also enable secure credit card payments for invoices.
- Admin dashboard: A comprehensive overview of all customer transactions. Includes trend visualization through charts, with options to filter by organization or date range.
- Webhooks: Partners can subscribe to three key events—subscription updated, subscription canceled and purchase order completed—to keep their solutions synchronized with portal activities.
- Order approval based on value: Partners can activate order approval workflows that trigger only when a specified monetary threshold is exceeded.
- Scheduled quantity reduction: For subscriptions with a minimum committed quantity, partners can schedule reductions to take effect at the next renewal period, eliminating the need for customers to act precisely on the renewal date.
New website launch
Keeping things running smoothly under the hood is obviously important, but tidying up our front-of-house was also a priority for Sherweb in 2025. To that end, we launched a new website! Updates will continue into 2026 and beyond, but we’ve laid the foundation for a more modern user experience that better communicates our brand promise and how we drive growth for MSP partners.
Staying connected at industry events
Members of the Sherweb team went to more than 50 industry events this past year, truly exemplifying our enthusiasm for fostering in-person connections and engaging with our greater MSP community. Whether we’re hosting a session or having conversations on the tradeshow floor, these events represent ground zero for where we get to share our vision for the channel, build relationships with existing partners and kick off friendships with new ones.

Supporting the Sherweb family
Sherweb announced its acquisition of Irish cloud distributor MicroWarehouse late last year, expanding our footprint in Europe. It was a great first trip around the sun with the latest member of the Sherweb family, and a busy one at that!
Technical training events, from bootcamp to boardroom
2025 saw MicroWarehouse’s training calendar go into overdrive with learn.mwh.ie becoming the hub for partner certifications. The highlights? An exclusive security event at One Microsoft Place focusing on NIS2 compliance with Microsoft Business Premium, a two-day Azure Mastery workshop with Microsoft MVP Aidan Finn, the Azure Bytes series with Fergal Quigley, SC-200 Security Operations Analyst training, and Microsoft Copilot workshops with Nikki Chapple from CloudWay. Each event was designed to transform partner capabilities, directly aligning with Microsoft’s latest partner designation requirements.
Tech Excellence Awards: Distributor of the Year
In May the MicroWarehouse team took to the stage at the Royal Marine Hotel in Dublin to collect the Distributor of the Year award at Ireland’s most prestigious technology industry awards ceremony. The win—decided by public vote from the channel—demonstrated strong partner support and recognition within the Irish tech community.
Platform launch and expanded vendor portfolio
After many months in development, Cumulus (AKA Sherweb’s Partner Portal) launched to Irish and UK partners, providing a new platform for partner engagement and management. An expanded vendor portfolio including Huntress, SentinelOne, Office Protect, Keepit and Acronis now gives partners streamlined access to best-in-class security and backup solutions across both markets.
FY26 Roadshow
MicroWarehouse’s signature roadshow returned with a bang, hitting four cities across Ireland and Northern Ireland in November. From the Dean Hotel in Galway to The Merchant in Belfast, culminating in a spectacular finale at the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin, this wasn’t just another partner event. Over 250 MSP decision-makers turned up for vendor speed dating, AI insights, security deep-dives, and the chance to win a Surface Hub 2S. The roadshow proved once again that when MicroWarehouse comes to town, partners show up.
Microsoft Distribution Partner of the Year for Ireland
November brought validation when MicroWarehouse was named Microsoft Distribution Partner of the Year for Ireland—the seventh win in eight years. The award recognized the team’s comprehensive approach to partner enablement, training excellence and security leadership.
While we’re on the subject of awards…
Celebrating our wins
Although we’ve got our noses to the grindstone a vast majority of the time, it’s nice to sit back and take stock of our achievements every now and again. And there was no shortage of those for Sherweb in 2025.
First and foremost, Sherweb was named the 2025 Microsoft Canada Partner of the Year as well as a finalist for Partner of the Year in the Americas. Our friends at MicroWarehouse also took home the award for Microsoft Ireland Distribution Partner of the Year. As a long-standing Microsoft indirect CSP provider, these recognitions mean the world to us and inspire our team to continue delivering unbeatable value for our MSP partners.

We’ve got another big year ahead of us
It feels like every December we say: “It was a big year! But more big things are coming.” And yet, here we are again. Looking ahead, we’re primed and ready to continue expanding our cloud marketplace, educating partners on strategies and best practices for growing their business, and delivering top-tier value added services to help MSPs flourish. We don’t want to give away too much right now, but partners can fully expect AI adoption and everything cybersecurity to remain in the spotlight.
At the risk of sounding like a broken record, get ready for 2026. Because more big things are coming. See you next year!
